Domestic Scaffolding
Access for work on houses, bungalows and flats — put up around your home with the drive, the borders and the neighbours in mind, and taken down the moment the job is finished.
Domestic scaffolding -
Commercial Scaffolding
Scaffolding for shops, offices, schools and sites that have to keep running while the work goes on. Planned around your opening hours, your footfall and your other contractors.
Commercial scaffolding -
Industrial Scaffolding
Heavier-duty access for warehouses, plant and industrial units, designed around load, height and the plant that still has to move underneath it.
Industrial scaffolding -
Temporary Roofing
A weatherproof roof over the whole structure, so a re-roof, a loft conversion or fire and flood repairs can carry on whatever the forecast does.
Temporary roofs scaffolding -
HAKI System Scaffolding & Staircases
Modular HAKI system scaffolding and public-access staircases, for sites that need access up quickly, repeatably and to a consistent standard.
System & stairs scaffolding -
Cladding & Sheeting
Scaffold cladding, sheeting and shrink-wrap that keep weather, dust and debris where they belong — and keep a working site looking tidy from the street.
Cladding scaffolding -
Specialist Scaffolding
The awkward ones. Where a standard frame will not fit or will not do, we design the access around the building instead of forcing the building to suit the scaffold.
Specialist scaffolding -
Restoration Scaffolding
Access for period and listed buildings, where the scaffold has to be tied and loaded without marking or damaging the fabric it is fixed to.

What a proper scaffold is made of
Most people only find out their scaffold was cut short when something moves underfoot. Tap any part of the drawing — this is what we build in, every time, and what to look for on anyone's scaffold.
-
The vertical tubes carrying the load down to the ground. They sit on baseplates and sole boards so the weight is spread, not driven into your lawn or block paving.
-
The horizontals. Ledgers run along the face and tie the standards together; transoms cross them and carry the boards. Together they are what stops the frame racking.
-
A full, close-boarded working lift — no gaps to step through, no springy single plank. This is the bit the trades actually stand on all day.
-
A top rail at least 950mm above the platform with an intermediate rail below it, so no unprotected gap is more than 470mm. It is the difference between a working platform and a fall.
-
The upstand along the platform edge that keeps tools, offcuts and brick ends from being kicked off the edge onto whatever — or whoever — is below.
-
Ties fix the scaffold back to the building and diagonal braces stiffen it. An untied scaffold is a sail: this is the part you cannot see from the ground and the part most worth asking about.
- Every Alpine scaffold is built to be worked from safely and signed off before anyone uses it — book a free survey and we'll show you the design for your building.
